Sourced entirely from Chardonnay vines planted on Margaret's Bench in 2011, Dilemma represents the difficult decision to deciding to rip out the old block of Chardonnay on Arise Bench. Showcasing mineral and spice aromas, Dilemma is framed by lovely oak, caramel, and butter flavours, a luscious body, and a long, fresh finish, creating a wine of outstanding finesse, beauty, elegance, and style.

WINEMAKING
9 months sur lie aging in a combination of new (35%) and used (35%) French oak barrels, and stainless steel cask (30%).

TASTING NOTE
An elegant terroir-driven Chardonnay, Dilemma shows expressive aromas of ripe citrus, stone fruit, and fresh chamomile flowers. Soft peach flavours anchor a textural, mineral-driven palate, taut with fresh acidity and subtle chestnut flavours. Clasically structured and restrained, the toasty oak finish is long, savory, and bright.

Morel mushroom risotto with garden thyme and new season white onions; baked pistachio-crusted steelhead with herbed potato mash.
