An estate grown blend of Cabernet Franc (36%), Merlot (35%), Cabernet Sauvignon (23%), Petit Verdot (4%) and Malbec (2%) from Arise Bench.
WINEMAKING
Matured for 16 months in a combination of new (30%), 1-year-old (35%), and 2-year-old (35%) French oak barrels.
TASTING NOTE
Botanical aromas of ‘Okanagan garrigue’ (pine mushrooms, sage, wild mint, cedar) combine with exuberant red cherry and sweet red plum aromas before coalescing with savory earth, tobacco, and dry forest floor. Mouth-filling and robust, generous and integrated fruit, toasted oak, and clove flavours are carried all the way through the supple, luscious finish.
