For lovers of our dry, aromatic whites, this gift set includes three vintages of both our Decora and Unicus. The bright acidity of both Riesling and Grüner Veltliner allow for suburb aging, making these library vintages both elegant and complex.
Deep in colour and intensity, Hypothesis represents the Triggs’ culmination of efforts to create an icon quality wine from select micro blocks off their Golden Mile Bench estate. A rich, bold, and terroir-driven blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Cabernet Franc.
Only 12 produced, packaged and finished in the Udukuri Japanese woodworking style by Osoyoos-based artist, Kimberly Tighe, each Imperiale in the 2014 series is unique and collectible as Hypothesis itself.
A classic expression of Cabernet Sauvignon with aromas of espresso roast and cedar, alongside ripe black currant and cherries. The integrated palate is fruit driven with a full body and supple texture, and well-balanced toasted oak. The finish is long, dusty, and persistent.
A classic expression of Cabernet Franc with a complex bouquet of cherry and raspberry accented by sage and lavender. The intricate palate is bursting with bright red fruits balanced by fine tannins and mouthwatering acidity. Vibrant and structured, the long finish has notes of plum, cocoa powder and tobacco leaf.
Our new vintage of Merlot is elegant and refined. Aromatics of blackberry and raspberry bramble fruits are mirrored on the palate, layered with rich dark chocolate notes. This wine finishes with a lingering spicy note with a hint of toasted oak that invite you back for another sip.
Only the second release of single-varietal Malbec from Culmina's Arise Bench vineyard this is a classically-styled expression of Malbec. Bursting with red cherries and baking spices with notes of cassis, black plum and violet this juicy and round wine has charm while delivering both structure and drinkability.
The first red wine produced in Culmina's Number Series, the N° 006 Unfiltered 'Jeunes Vignes' Malbec was sourced from the juvenile Malbec blocks on both Stan's and Arise Benches, having been determined by Jean-Marc to differ greatly in terms of structure compared to the more mature lots. Handled quite differently in terms of oak treatment as a result, the N° 006 is a resoundingly delicious - and dare we say crushable - Malbec full of lip-smacking, juicy character. Only 250 cases produced.
Sourced entirely from Chardonnay vines planted on Margaret's Bench in 2011, Dilemma represents the difficult decision to deciding to rip out the old block of Chardonnay on Arise Bench. Showcasing mineral and spice aromas, Dilemma is framed by lovely oak, caramel, and butter flavours, a luscious body, and a long, fresh finish, creating a wine of outstanding finesse, beauty, elegance, and style.
Bleeding off a portion of juice from each of Culmina’s best Bordeaux-red varietal lots, Saignée is a elegant and complex rosé from select micro blocks on Arise Bench. With red raspberry and plum preserve notes supported by a creamy mid-palate this is a layered and inviting expression of Saignée.
Our 2018 Decora celebrates the 8th harvest from our Margaret's Bench vineyard and is a true terroir-driven expression of Riesling. Latin for pretty or fine, Decora is an intensely aromatic Riesling that whets the palate with mouth-watering acidity. Showing aromas of Gravenstein apple and white peaches, Decora displays pronounced flavours of mineral, pink grapefruit and lime zest, creating a wine of outstanding vivacity, delicacy, elegance, and style.
Latin for incomparable, unprecedented, or ‘only’, Unicus represents the Okanagan Valley’s first Grüner Veltliner. Harvested from Margaret’s Bench - one of the highest vineyards in the Okanagan - Unicus displays lifted mineral, Asian pear, tangerine, and stone fruit aromas. With a rich minerally finish, Unicus is a wine of outstanding originality, interest, elegance, and style.
A classic expression of Cabernet Sauvignon with aromas of ripe blackberry, cassis complemented by well integrated oak spice. The refined palate is mouth-coating with a supple texture. Flavours of black currant, clove and cocoa powder build in intensity throughout the long finish.

The third in the Number Series, Culmina's Nº 003 En Coteaux Riesling is Culmina's first ever single varietal release from Stan's Bench. Left on the vine to hang well into the Autumn season, the wine has been modelled similar to the first release in the Number Series, N° 001, release in an effort to highlight the distinct terroir differences between two of Culmina's vineyard benches.
The fourth in the Number Series, Culmina's Nº 004 Stan's Bench Chardonnay is Culmina's first ever single varietal Chardonnay release from Culmina's middle elevation vineyard, Stan's Bench. Made using minimal winemaking inputs and undergoing 100% indigenous yeast fermentation, this wine was racked into neutral French oak barrels and left 'malic' as it aged for 9 months on lees before bottling.
The fifth in the Number Series, Culmina’s N° 005 Süsser Riesling is Culmina’s first German-style Riesling, made from a portion of X2 on Margaret’s Bench. Produced entirely from the Weiss Clone (21), N° 005 offers a more medium-sweet or Süsser sweetness profile to contrast to that of Culmina’s iconically dry Decora.
The grapes for Culmina's Nº 008 Skin Contact Gewürztraminer were sourced from Culmina's only pink-skinned micro-block on Arise Bench. Jean-Marc soaked the grapes on skins for 3 full days prior to fermentation, adding texture an interest to this aromatic variety. A lengthy, natural fermentation utilizing only indigenous yeast followed, adding further complexity and character to this classically-styled wine. Vibrant with notes of lychee, rose petals and sandalwood, and balanced by chalky minerality, a natural freshness, and a round mid-palate, this classically-styled Gewürztraminer is a stunning surprise. Only 100 cases produced.
The companion Chardonnay to the No. 010, this comes from the warmer T2 block on Stan’s Bench. Fermented using indigenous yeast and matured for 8 months in French oak, this is the sophomore release of Chardonnay from Stan's Bench.
Made with four Bordeaux-Red varieties all sourced directly from Culmina's estate vineyards, the 2017 R&D Red Blend is a perfumed and richly layered blend of exceptional quality from the Golden Mile Bench.
